Antti’s report from January has arrived! #posiohillsintwoyears “The low hanging fruits have been picked and the trips to the hills become longer and longer. I visited the Bonfire hill, Kokkovaara, in the beginning of the month. It’s in the southeast Posio at the municipal border with Kuusamo. The four hour skiing trip involved a crossing of a small river using a tree trunk as a bridge. At the end of the month I visited the Palovaara at the border with the Rovaniemi municipality. The hill was even steeper than Kokkovaara. On the way, I visited Palonenäkkeenvaara. The snow has lately been deep, fluffy and very slippery under the skis!”
