“There has been talk about signs of Spring. On Wednesday, the sky was clear, but instead of cold temperatures, the sun was slowly melting the snow into icicles. I visited Mustavaara hill before enjoying the routine of sauna and ice swimming at the Livojärvi lake in the early evening sunset.⠀ ⠀ Every trip to the hills is a small adventure and you never know what you get. It took two hours to navigate through dense forests and bushes to the low hills of Lehtovaara and Kumpuvaara. This time, the beautiful part was not the great views but the small things.”
