Hotel Lapin Satu offers accommodation in the old Posio village school, by the Lake Posiojärvi. The hotel is located a 5-min drive away from the Posio center. The rooms are fully renovated, and individually decorated. You can choose your favorite from the 12 cosy rooms. The hotel can accommodate altogether 30 people. All rooms have TVs, desks as well as private showers and toilets. Some of the rooms also have a kitchenette, a fireplace and a view of the lake.

Restaurant
Hotel Lapin Satu offers a buffet lunch on weekdays. You can choose to have either soup or hot food for lunch. Lunch includes a salad bar, bread and dessert and coffee or tea. At other times, the menu includes pizza as well as traditional Russian dishes. The restaurant has 38 seats. In summer, lunch can be enjoyed on the 40-seat terrace with stunning lake views.

Booked this last minute ang got positively surprised. Big room, spotless clean, friendly service, children friendly, silent location, great nature just in front of the doorstep. Posio and Lapin Satu are clearly worth a visit.
Renovated old school has a new life as a neat hotel. Our room was spacious and very clean and the view to the lake was spectacular although the weather was grey. We recommend booking the sauna too! Breakfast was basic but good. Convenient basecamp for those going e.g. to Korouoma.
